There are times in our live when we crave for some sarcasm. Just to cope with everyday life and the challenges we face: that annoying boss, that cranky neighbour, that irritating man in the subway….. At those moments we’re in dire need of some sarcasm.

In endodontics this may also happen. For instance when you’ve done everything to save that tooth, used all your skill and knowledge but…. the treatment fails.

In periodontology they would say: ” Hey, that’s nature…” In endodontics we say: ” What did I do wrong that this treatment failed?” It’s in those cases that we need to take a different path and pursue that holy grail in dentistry: the dental implant…..
